DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY (DLR):

The DLr is an overground system connecting East London to the London Underground network. It is connected to the airport terminal making transport to and from the airport east and convenient. The DLR departs every 8 to 15 minutes, and the journey takes less than 7 minutes to Canning Town or Woolwich Arsenal and 22 minutes to Bank. London City Airport is in Zone 3, tickets and oyster cards can be purchased at the DLR counter opposite the terminal.
