CHECK IN:

Check in desks are located on the ground floor of the terminal concourse, on the right hand side. Passengers should allow 45 minutes for check in. BA passengers travelling with hand luggage to New York can check in 15 mintes before the flight is due to depart. For all other passengers, it is recommended that you confirm with your airline for the latest check in times.

ONLINE CHECK IN:

Some airlines offer the service of checking in online, allowing you to print off your boarding card at home and reduce the time spent queuing at the check in desk.

SELF SERVICE CHECK IN:

Self service check in machines are available for passengers of British Airways, Lufthansa, SAS and Air France with hand baggage only.

COMMON USE SELF SERVICE (CUSS) CHECK IN:

CUSS machines are available in the terminal for passengers travelling with Alitalia, Air Southwest, Aer Arann, Luxair,KLM and SWISS.

CHAUFFEUR CLUB:

The London City Airport Chauffeur Club boasts unlimited parking and accress to short stay car park for 12 months for members. Members can renew their membership or join the club from March 2009. All passes issued throughoutthe year expire on 31 March. Just fill in an application form and hand it in at the customer service desk. Free Wireless Internet access:
Wireless internet access is offered free of charge throughout London /City Airport.

Internet Stations:

There are public access internet desks by the escalators in the main terminal and in the departure lounge between gate 1 and 2. They offer high speen pay as you go internet access.

Online With Your PDA:

You can synchronise your PDA to the London City Airport website to view all the important information. All information is under 200kb, so set up an account with AvantGo and add London City Airport to the service.

LEFT LUGGAGE:

There is a left luggage facility at London City Airport which costs £5 per item per 24 hour period. The left luggage room is in security zone A, to the right of the main concourse behind the check in desks. POST BOXES:

There is a post box at the terminal entrance with collections by Royal Mail daily. Stamps can be purchased from WH Smith which is on the ground floor.

SMOKING AREAS:

Smoking is not permittd inside the airport, however there are designated smoking areas at the front of the main terminal entrance.

TOILETS AND BABY CHANGING:

In Terminal Concourse: The toilets and baby changing facilities are at the rear of the terminal, behind the lift and escalator.
In Departure Lounge: The toilets and baby changing facilities are located near Cafe Nero, and also next to Trattoria.

TELEPHONES:

There are public telephones located throughout the terminal. They accept cash, phone cards and credit cards.

TROLLEYS:

Trolleys are available at the car parks, in the terminal and in the arrivals hall.

SPECIAL NEEDS:

London City Airport provides services and assistance including:

Lift access from the concourse ground floor to the departures level. Also from the departure pier to the apron for passenger boarding.
