Route 21 of the National Cycle Network passes under the South Terminal, allowing almost traffice free cycling northwards to Horley and southwards to Three Bridges and Crawley. A goods style lift runs between the terminal and ground level near Zone L. There is a sign saying "Lift to Cycle Route"
