There is good access to Southampton by train with trains running hourly from the following cities:

Passengers arriving at Southampton Central station can use the free City Link bus service from outside the exit of platform 4. The bus departs every 15 minutes stopping at the city centre and at Town Quay for Isle of Wight ferries and the Hythe ferry.
