Southampton is the UK's number one cruise port, it has four passenger cruise terminals in operation. It has the biggest choice of cruises from the UK. Whilst Southampton is traditionally home to P&O Cruises and Cunard, Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises berth their ships at the City Cruise Terminal. Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Fred Olsen Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas and Silversea Cruises also operate sailings from the port.
There is parking and you can stay in some of the lovely hotels across the city and in the surrounding area that are included in the cruise packages. This enables visitors to stay in the city before or after their cruise whilst allowing parking and assisting with travel arrangements to and from the cruise terminals.
Being the UK's largest cruise port, Southampton has a great advantage over transport links due to its convenient location on the south coast. The city’s national and international travel links by road, rail, sea and air are unmatched in the region.
Southampton is approx 75 miles from London and 21 miles from the Channel ports making it the ideal city break or a stop off point for cruise and airline passengers on their way to further afield.
